US man explains how he got fired after his paint mixing videos went viral on TikTok
This Ohio man has become a victim of his own success after he was fired from his job after going viral on TikTok. Tony, known online as Tonester Paints, has acquired a large following on TikTok by posting videos of himself mixing paint. In these videos, Tony also uses other items such as blueberries and coffee. Tonester Paints currently boasts 1.2 million followers on TikTok. In a recent post, Tony explains how he was recently fired for gross misconduct after people started contacting the company's customer service to ask about his videos and whether they could put blueberries in the paint. Tony then explains how he turned to his friends for help to get a studio and his own paint to continue to make videos and engage his growing audience. The clips were filmed over the year from January to November in Athens, Ohio.
