France become first team to qualify for the round of 16, as Argentina return to winning ways
The defending champions live up to their name as France are the first team to qualify for the knockout stage in Qatar. After a shock defeat, Argentina keep their hopes alive as they return to winning ways beating Mexico 2-0. A special day for Polish striker Robert Lewandowski who scores his first-ever World Cup goal, while an energetic Australian side beat Tunisia 1-0.
