Merseyside enjoyed another clear afternoon today as people made the most of the blue skies and mild temperatures.

It comes after a bumper weekend of weather as hundreds of locals flocked to the open spaces across the area in the first real sign of good weather in 2021.

Today marked the first day of meteorological spring as once again, people took to the outdoors to get their daily dose of exercise.

The morning started frosty but plenty of sunshine hit the region’s skies with temperatures rising to double figures.

This afternoon Merseyside was treated to sunny spells with mild temperatures and a light breeze.
