Northwich in Cheshire hit by flooding, with care homes evacuated
The centre of Northwich has been hit by flooding, with water entering some businesses in the town centre and homes evacuated. Roads into the town centre have been closed and pedestrians are being asked to avoid the area due to footpaths being “under numerous inches of water”, police said on Twitter.
