Bank of England hikes interest rates to 4% in tenth hike in a row
Mortgage-payers face more pain today after the Bank of England hiked interest rates again - but hinted that the worst could be past. The base rate has been pushed from 3.5 per cent to 4 per cent in the latest move,-the 10th successive increase.
