Protesters disrupt Philip Hammond's Mansion House speech

Climate change activists on Thursday disrupted a speech by Philip Hammond at Mansion House in London. Footage showed several women wearing red dresses and sashes reading 'climate' shouting at Hammond before being escorted out of the banquet hall. After the protesters were removed, Hammond stood up and said it was 'ironic' as the British government had just 'led the world' by committing to a zero-carbon economy by 2050.
