Healthcare workers save thousands of vaccines after power cut

Two thousand Covid vaccines were put at risk by a power cut at Wilmslow Health Centre, before staff successfully hatched a last-minute plan.  Dr Fari Ahmad, a GP at the centre, described how offers of help from the community streamed in to save the jabs after an explosion at an electrical substation had caused the outage.
