Notre Dame sculptures showcased in Turin

Four Notre Dame cathedral sculptures that survived the French Revolution of the 1790s, were showcased at Turin's Palazzo Madama palace. The statues, which were displayed in collaboration with the Cluny museum in Paris, would have been damaged in the recent fire in Notre Dame if they had still been there, according to the curator of the exhibition, Simonetta Castronovo.
