
Sea level rise swamps Mergui Archipelago coast in Myanmar
Drone footage shows the impact of rising sea levels in Myanmar's Mergui (Myeik) Archipelago. Trees, once part of dry land, are now submerged and dying. A developing country with many islands and low-lying areas, Myanmar is particularly vulnerable to extreme weather events and rises in sea level -- both things it faces with climate change.
