A Radically Different Tipping Culture Has Emerged Since Pre-COVID
CNN reports that more and more businesses are offering customers the option to leave a tip. According to data from Toast, about 48% of all purchases at fast food restaurants and coffee shops included a tip in the last quarter of 2022.
