Blinken in Ramallah: US to provide additional $50 million to UN for Palestinians
The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is meeting the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas today, as tension soar in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories. Civilians on both sides have been killed in recent weeks. Yesterday, Blinken met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and reiterated the US's vision of a two-state solution to the conflict. Today, Blinken and Abbas are expected to discuss the Palestinian Authority's decision to suspend security cooperation with Israel, in the light of deadly raid last week in Jenin. Watch part of his discussion and FRANCE 24's correspondent in Jerusalem Irris Makler analysis.
