Countries across the world celebrate the International Day Against Homophobia

Today is the international day against homophobia, transphobia and biphobia. May 17th marks the day that the WHO decided back in 1999 to declassify homosexuality as mental disorder. The day is now celebrated in more than 130 countries, including 70 in which same-sex acts are criminalised.
