Lewes Bonfire Night Celebrations

On November 5th every year, the skies of UK are lit up by bonfires and firework displays as part of Guy Fawkes Night, the commemoration of the discovery of Guy Fawkes and his accomplices' plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament with gunpowder in 1605. Bonfire celebrations in the town of Lewes, East Sussex form UK's largest and most famous Bonfire Night.

Here are some interesting facts and scenes from this year's celebrations.
