Pension Reform strikes: What is the atmosphere like in the march in Paris?
For the second time this month, France is in the grip of a general strike today in response to the govt's unpopular pension reforms. Schools, transport, power stations and refineries all severely affected by the walkout. This afternoon, major protests are taking place across the country. Unions will be hoping for a repeat of 12 days ago, when more than 1 million took to the streets, in a show of force against the government. The march in Paris has just begun in the south of the city. FRANCE 24's senior reporter Catherine Norris Trent reports from the march.
