Photographer Péter Csákvári Creates Stunning 'Tiny Wasteland' Miniature Worlds

Hungarian photographer and artist Péter Csákvári uses everyday objects like food, as well as miniature figures to create amazing intricate scenes depicting microscopic worlds. Each turns items normal sized humans might use or eat into a backdrop for his art which often displays humour in its staging. Over the past two years he’s been working on his ‘Tiny Wasteland’ series which features his tiny figures doing everything from playing golf, and skiing, to hanging out the washing or playing by the pool. Peter had the germ of the idea for the project came while he was working as a chef on the British island of Herm. He bought a professional camera and some worker figures from a model train shop and experimented by putting them on a piece of moss. Now he creates ever more intricate works for his Tiny Wasteland project - which has more than 10,000 followers on Facebook.
