Pope Francis lands in Kinshasa, DR Congo
In Kinshasa, DR Congo, Pope Francis has just touched down for the first papal visit to the country since 1985. He'll be welcomed by President Felix Tshisekedi before meeting victims of the violence in Goma, eastern Congo. This is the pope's his fifth trip to the African continent since assuming the papacy, and he is expected to draw large crowds when he celebrates Mass later in the week. FRANCE 24's Marc Perelman comments his arrival.
