Zero tolerance against FGM: Activist and writer Hamitraoré fights to end practice in Ivory Coast
On the occasion of the international day against female genital mutilation, we take you to the Ivory Coast. More than 1/3 of women are victims. Aminata Traore is a writer. She herself was circumcised at the age of 11 and fights against this illegal practice. Her books are not her only weapon. FRANCE 24's Sophie Lamotte and Sadia Mandjo followed her in the field with her NGO.
