Chris Eubank Jr sends sensational fight week message to James DeGale

There are just three days remaining until Chris Eubank Jr and James DeGale meet in their grudge match at the O2 Arena.

The IBO super-middleweight title will be on the line - but there is much more at stake for both fighters in what has been dubbed a retirement bout.

Whilst Eubank Jr may have some time left to rebuild his career with a defeat, a loss for DeGale will almost certainly spell the end of his time in the ring.

With the countdown on until their meeting with plenty of bad blood in the build-up, a fired up Eubank Jr has vowed to end the career of his opponent.

"Only 5 more days until you get to retire James." Eubank Jr said on Twitter.

"It's ok though you had a good run...

"Just try not to cheat the fans and run around the ring all night."

Eubank Jr is aiming to rebuild after his crushing points defeat to George Groves a year ago.

He got back to winning ways with a one-sided beat down of JJ McDonagh in Saudi Arabia on the undercard of Groves' defeat to Callum Smith last September.

But his clash with DeGale marks a return to the top level against a former world champion who is desperate to prove he has plenty left to offer even entering the twilight of his career.
