Grades: West Ham 2017-18 signings

West Ham’s 2017/18 season was an underwhelming one, as they finished in 13th in the table with no long-term manager in place.

The season started with Slaven Bilic in charge, however, after a dissapointing start to the season which saw the club languishing in the relegation places, David Moyes took over in November, and nine wins and ten draws later, West Ham sealed their survival in the Premier League.

Over the course of the summer and winter windows, West Ham made seven new signings in an attempt to strengthen their squad.

The marquee signing was Marko Arnautovic from Premier League rivals Stoke City for a fee of around £25 million.

Other notable additions were Joe Hart on loan from Manchester City and midfielder Joao Mario on loan from Inter Milan.
