Eintracht Frankfurt are facing competition from the likes of AS Roma and Leeds United in their pursuit of PSV Eindhoven midfielder Justin Lonwijk.

According to claims from TMW, as cited in a report from Football Italia, the Bundesliga side are in the hunt for the promising Dutchman, who is high in demand ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old is held in high esteem by PSV, but the Eredivisie giants are believed to be at risk of losing him at the end of the season.

Lonwijk’s contract expires at the end of June, prompting concerns that the youngster could seek pastures new and depart on a free transfer in the summer.

This appears to have piqued the interest of Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, who are listed as potential suitors for the Netherlands Under-19 international.

However, clubs from across Europe have been alerted to the midfielder’s situation, with Championship team Leeds interested, along with Serie A outfit Roma.
