Southampton and Eintracht Frankfurt were two of the teams watching striker David Okereke in action.

According to reports in Italy from Il Secolo XIX, as cited on Calcio Mercato the Saints and the Bundesliga side were just two of the teams watching the forward, as Spezia took on Ascoli in Serie B.

The Nigerian forward has been linked with a move away from the Italian side, with Eintracht Frankfurt joining the chase for the forward.

Okereke has nine goals in the Italian second division and has attracted a lot of interest from elsewhere.

Both Southampton and Eintracht Frankfurt will be looking to strengthen up front in the Summer.

The Saints have struggled for goals apart from their main man in Danny Ings.

Meanwhile, Eintracht could lose Luka Jovic this Summer, the man who has been vital towards the Bundesliga side’s good form and run in the UEFA Europa League.
