WATCH: how a brutal stabbing proved ultimately enriching
Sussex Newspapers group arts editor Phil Hewitt's book Outrunning The Demons has now been translated into Chinese - a chance to reflect on the journey from the day he was brutally stabbed and left for dead.“The lovely thing is that when you come back from something like that then, boy, you do realise how good life can be and I've had the incredible fortune to be surrounded by a really loving family, my wonderful wife Fiona and people who've really looked after me and encouraged me.“When you've nearly had your life taken away, when good things happen in life they just seem so much better. Since that day both my children have qualifiedas doctors. When you nearly had your life taken away and your children devote their lives to saving lives and preserving lives, that is pretty awesome.”
