At least not on such a large scale. "Memento" would perhaps be the ultimate proof of this, though "Inception" is probably the first big-concept Christopher Nolan movie the TV gods would try to go with (not counting "Arrow" as a TV version of the grittiness in those Nolan Batman movies). Also, it would finally shut up that guy you knew who said movies would always be better than TV because, "Until TV can make something like 'Memento,' that’s just the way it is.'"
