Aberdeen and Hibernian both want to take Lewis Morgan on loan for the remainder of the season, according to a report from the Daily Record.

Brendan Rodgers is willing to let theĀ 22-year-old leave on a temporary basis to get regular first-team football and there have already been enquiries made for his services.

Celtic have ruled out the possibility of Morgan going back to St Mirren as he wants him playing at a better team, butĀ Aberdeen and Hibernian are realistic possibilities, whilst English Championship side Hull City are also interested in the Scottish U21 international.

It looks certain that Morgan will be playing elsewhere for the rest of the season, the only question is where exactly that will be.

Aberdeen are only three points behind Celtic in the league table so there could be reservations in terms of sending Morgan to strengthen them, although the Bhoys will be confident of finishing above the Dons regardless.
