Browns rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield has an admirer, and he will be on the opposite sideline this week.

Mayfield and the Browns head to New Orleans to face Drew Brees and the Saints on Sunday, and Brees gushed about Mayfield's potential.

"I think he can be a lot better than me,'' Brees said Wednesday, via "Man, he's got all the tools. He's more athletic, he probably can run around better, he's got a stronger arm. Listen, he's got all the tools.''

Both quarterbacks are considered short by NFL standards, standing around 6 feet tall. Brees, a lock for the hall of fame, may like what he sees from Mayfield, but the No. 1 overall pick in this year's NFL Draft has a long way to go before he gets anywhere close to Brees' career numbers.

The Browns will again start Tyrod Taylor against the Saints after he helped Cleveland tie the Steelers last week. Taylor was brought over via trade from the Bills, and appears to be the perfect mentor to Mayfield.
