The Raiders have re-signed wide receiver Martavis Bryant shortly after letting him go, the team announced Wednesday.

Oakland also signed long snapper Trent Sieg.

The Raiders released Bryant before the start of the season because the team was reportedly expecting him to be suspended due to a violation of the NFL's substance abuse policy. Bryant would be out for the full year if he was to be suspended.

Bryant was reportedly at the Raiders facility Tuesday and there has been no word yet about whether the former Steelers receiver will be suspended.

The Raiders acquired Bryant from Pittsburgh for a third-round pick during the draft.

Oakland is slated to visit Denver at 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday.
