Celtic Predicted XI vs: Aberdeen (A)

Games are coming thick and fast for Celtic, who have the chance to get back to winning ways when they travel north to face Aberdeen this Sunday.

The Hoops suffered their second home defeat in a row on Thursday as AC Milan proved to be too strong for the Scottish champions. The Rossoneri seemed to put the game to bed in the first-half after going 2-0 up, however, Elyounoussi gave the home side a glimmer of hope after pulling one back with 14 minutes to go. They looked like getting the equaliser before Jens Petter Hauge put the game beyond doubt for the visitors in the dying minutes.

There were certainly spells in the game where Celtic showed improvement, particularly when they switched to a back-four. They pressed well and looked up for it compared to their performance the Saturday before; though sloppy defensive work gifted Milan the win.

Lennon has a talented group of players at his disposal and they’ll want to right their wrongs when they face the Dons on Sunday.

The Hoops haven’t dropped points at Pittodrie since February 2016 (a run of eight games unbeaten); we can’t let that slip now.

Forrest, Johnston, Jullien, Bitton and Elhamed all remain sidelined; Edouard could feature.

Here’s how Lennon could line his side up for this weekend’s big match.
