Boris Becker defeats Omar Camporese (1991 Third Round)

While he ended up winning his first Australian Open title that year, the tournament didn’t start very well for Boris Becker. The German was involved in what was the longest match in the men’s section of the event at the time (5 hrs 11 minutes). He scraped past Italian Omar Camporese in the Third Round with the score 7-6(4), 7-6(5), 0-6, 4-6, 14-12.
