For the first time in 20 years, the popular Gum Wall at Pike Place Market in Seattle, Washington, is about to get a total scrub down as years of gumming have started wear on the building's brick exterior. With an estimated one million pieces on the wall, the gums will be removed by an industrial steam machine. Once cleaned, the wall will be available once more for displaying gum art.
