Cow in David and Goliath stand-off with train after driver stops to let herd cross the line
A cow in Thailand didn't let a huge disparity in size get in the way of staring down a train in Thailand on 28 January. The stand-off was all the more surprising for the fact the train driver had kindly stopped to let the rest of the herd cross the line. The video was captured from the train as it was travelling through rural Buriram province. The calves were in no hurry to cross though and one of them appeared distracted by the oncoming locomotive. Operator Ukrit said: "The train tracks are near farms and paddy fields so I always come across animals." "This is also the reason why I had to be alert all the time. The animals could not understand warning signs."
