NHS staff leave their scrubs at Downing Street in protest against mandatory COVID vaccines
Hundreds of scrubs were dumped outside Downing Street after the 'Rally for Freedom' in London on Saturday (January 22). The NHS100k campaign group participated in the rally in protest against the government's proposal to enforce compulsory COVID-19 vaccinations for healthcare workers in April 2022. NHS workers laid down their uniforms to highlight the negative impact a vaccine mandate would have on an already over-stretched NHS, which stands to lose a significant number of employees.
