Wild king cobra caught under home during drought

This is the moment a 10ft long king cobra was caught under a house. Footage taken by rescue volunteer Kasemsan Lakbut in Krabi, southern Thailand shows the rescuers crawling under the dark basement to catch the deadly reptile. After being found, the snake tried to slither away, but it was finally grabbed and stuffed into the bag after a 30-minute struggle. Rescue chief Panya said: "The snake was huge and I cannot imagine how bad it would be if it bit the residents. This is the first snake we have caught since the beginning of the year."
