Snow covers mountains as temperatures plunge in Samos, Greece

Snow covered mountaines in Samos, Greece, as temperatures plunged on Sunday (January 17). Footage shows Palestinian expat Alvi hiking to the top of a hillside for a spectacular view of the icy mountains and clear blue sea on the idyllic island. The National Observatory of Athens’ said on Sunday that the country was braced for more snow and freezing temperatures in the coming days. They said that dense snow is expected in central and southern Greece as far south as the mountains of Crete.
