Weather warnings issued as Japan blanketed in layer of snow

A powerful low-pressure system is passing over northern Japan on Tuesday (January 19), causing blizzard conditions. Footage from @kizakiko_camp and @tazhonda shows the winter conditions in Omachi and a shrine covered by snow in Yamagata on January 19. The Meteorological Agency has issued warnings of the snowstorm in northern Japan and the Sea of Japan side of the central part of the country.
