After a wet Friday, it is set to be a sunny and dry start to the day on Saturday according to forecasters.

The Met Office says that it will be a mainly dry morning with sunny spells, however it will become cloudier in the afternoon with rainy showers coming in from the East.

The maximum temperature will be 11C, but it could fell two or three degrees colder with the wind.

The sunrise will be at 8.02am and it will set at 4.12pm.

The Met Office said: "A mainly dry morning with sunny spells. Cloudier in the afternoon with showers spreading eastwards."

Sunday looks like it will follow the same pattern as Saturday, with sunny spells throughout the day and blustery showers in places.

This will lead into a wet start of the week, with more rain expected on Monday and Tuesday, with forecasters predicting long downpours on both days before it brightens up again on Wednesday.

The Met Office said: "Further sunny spells and blustery showers on Sunday. Fresh westerly winds easing later. Cloudier on Monday and Tuesday with showers or longer spells of rain."
