You can take a look at the three extracts ahead of the book's release - from the character bio of Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) styled as if it's a Dungeons and Dragons player character sheet - including the vital stats.

An interview with senior visual-effects supervisor Paul Graff reveals that Dart has a distinguishing "yellowish birthmark over his hind leg". Graff explains how its how you can tell it's Dart "because he always has the same pattern".

Sound designer Craig Henighan also talks about how Dart's voice was created - using a little bit of water, which he gargled. The page also explains how the sounds were created for the 'older' versions of the creature.
