A couple’s wedding day is one of the most important days of their lives. It’s a time to be the centre of attention and on the receiving end of a huge amount of love from friends and family.

But sometimes this doesn't go completely to plan as one bride and groom discovered at their recent wedding ceremony at Rainbow Ranch Lodge in Big Sky, Montana, when they were in danger of being overshadowed by their pet dog.

As Angie and Jayce Conway held hands for the opening prayer of the ceremony, their six-year-old Labrador, Boone, started rolling around energetically at their feet with his mouth wide open, photobombing the official wedding photographs.

‏Photographer, Chris Davis, of Good Road Co, caught the hilarious moment and shared the evidence on Twitter, which soon went viral.

@GoodRoadCo tweeted: “It's fun watching one of my images gain traction on the internet... now I just need some help from @darth or @dog_rates to know once and for all if a dog can graduate from good boy to best boy because I think that Boone has.”

Boone has been with owner Jayce since he was a little puppy, just before he started started dating Angie around five years ago.

“Boone the dog has always been such a great companion for Jayce and Angie that it was no surprise to anyone that he was tasked with being the Best Boy,” photographer Chris Davis told the Press Association.

“Since the wedding ceremony was held between a beautiful lake and the even more beautiful Gallatin River it’s just a miracle that we were able to keep him out of the water until after the vows were said.”

Twitter users loved the image and were quick to show their appreciation of Boone's antics...
