Donegal car crash victim Rachel Elliot 'heartbroken' to learn of friends' tragic death

Rachel Elliot Rachel Elliot A young woman who was seriously injured in a car crash was “heartbroken” to learn about the tragic deaths of her two friends, it has been reported.

Rachel Elliot’s sister, who visits her every day, said that Rachel was shocked and sad when she heard that her friends Shiva Devine, aged 20, and Conall McAleer, aged 20, had died in the crash.

The family aren’t sure if the 25-year-old would be able to walk again because of the horrific injuries she sustained as a result of the crash in Donegal last month.

“It’s just a waiting game,” Donna said.

a person posing for the camera © Credits: Justin Kernoghan The first thing that the young mum from Ballinamallard, Co Fermanagh did when she woke up from a coma last month was ask about her son, Ronnie, with whom she was recently reunited for the first time since the crash.

The car crash happened at Eastend in Bundoran at around 3.30am which resulted in two deaths and three injured.

Six adults were present in the vehicle.

Brothers Conor Brennan, aged 26, and Tristian Brennan, aged 19, who were also in the car were recovering at Sligo university hospital from serious but non-life threatening injuries.
