Producers say the convicted drug smuggler isn't famous enough to take part in the show.

A source revealed that ITV do not want to be seen to be "rewarding bad behaviour."

They told The Star: "Her convictions will make it almost impossible for a work visa and more importantly to ITV, they don't want to be seen to be rewarding bad behaviour."

In a further sting, the source added: "She hasn't contributed anything to the entertainment industry."

The hit celebrity torture show will be back on screens very soon.

It's set to return for an impressive seventeenth series later this winter.

Both Ant and Dec will be returning Down Under to host the show, with another batch of potentially well known faces to put them through bush tucker trials and subject them to the public vote.

As of yet, the names of the celebrities signed up to the show have not been revealed.
