Emergency services attend gas leak in the city centre

Gardai are currently directing traffic on the South Circular Road at the junction for St. Anthony's Road as the incident is dealt with.

AA Roadwatch reported the gas leak, and have advised motorists to expect delays if they are driving through the area.

AA Roadwatch posted online: "Expect delays on the South Circular Road at St. Anthony's Road as emergency services deal with a gas leak.

"Gardai are also at the scene directing traffic."

Gardai also took to Twitter to warn drivers about delays.
