Met Eireann has predicted mild and sunny days with temperatures in the highs of 16C.

Monday will be bright with a mix of sunny and cloudy spells.

A Met Eireann forecaster said: “A few light showers over parts of Ulster, but dry otherwise.

“Top temperatures of 10C to 12 C, in a light to moderate northwest breeze.”

But Monday night will see subzero temperatures as low as -1C with widespread frost.

“Tonight will be cold and dry. Some cloudy periods, but long clear spells too - the best of these over Munster and Leinster.”

Temperatures are set to go up again on Tuesday ranging between 11C to 14C.

It’ll be a mostly dry day with some spells of sunshine.

“Dry and cold on Tuesday night with mostly clear skies. Lowest temperatures of 0C to 5C with some frost over southern parts.

“Wednesday will be dry and fairly sunny. Highest temperatures of 10C to 15C, with highest values in the southeast, in light westerly breezes.

A slight frost is likely in Leinster and Munster.”

Thursday will be the warmest day of the week with the highest temperatures of 12C to 16C.

“It will be a bit breezier with moderate southwest winds.

“On Thursday night some rain may reach northwest coasts later but elsewhere it will stay dry. Overnight lows of 3C to C.

“Friday is looking rather cloudy across Connacht and Ulster with patchy light rain. Elsewhere it looks set to remain dry with some sunshine. Highest temperatures of 11C to 13C.”
