On Aug 1, 2007, the Interstate-35W freeway bridge in downtown Minneapolis, Minn., collapsed over the Mississippi River. It was carrying rush hour traffic and many vehicles and passengers fell into the river. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the incident that killed 13 people and injured 145.
