-Updates instrument cluster and electronics package.

-Likely to arrive in India early next year.

Ducati has unveiled the 2019 version of the Scrambler Icon. The bike sports minor cosmetic changes as well as an updated electronics package.

Visually, it gets a beefier tank with customisable side panels, a lower seat with grey stitching, blacked-out engine, redesigned exhaust and new wheels. The headlamp sports a new DRL and bezel flanked by LED indicators. The 2019 Scrambler’s instrument cluster also gets a gear indicator, fuel gauge and Ducati’s multimedia system with optional Bluetooth connectivity. Along with the trademark Scrambler yellow, the Icon will be available in an orange colour scheme.

The bike also comes equipped with a cornering ABS, although there’s still no traction control system. However, the bike continues to be powered by a 803cc, L-twin engine that puts out 75bhp and 68Nm of torque. This unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a new hydraulic clutch.

While the bike will be available in international markets this month, we can expect Ducati to launch the bike in India by early 2019.
