Toyota and Hyundai recently announced that they would be increasing prices across their line-up beginning from January 2019. Now, the country’s largest automaker, Maruti Suzuki has also announced a minor price hike.

The price change is for certain models across the range, owing to increase in commodity prices and foreign exchange rates. Maruti has revealed that the hike ranges up to Rs 10,000 ex-showroom Delhi and that the revised prices are effective from today onwards.

Maruti had decent sales in the month of December with 1,21,479 units sold in the domestic market over 1,19,286 units sold in the same month last year. Exports, however, were down to 6,859 units from 7,780 units in December 2017.
