Is this the best looking Hyundai yet? Certainly. Meet the new Hyundai i30 Fastback. While the i30 hatch has been deemed as too expensive for India, the fastback could be an interesting launch and we think it would sell for its looks alone.

The i30 Fastback is billed as a five-door coupe. The front is more attractive than any other Hyundai and more aggressive too. At the front, full LED Daytime Running Lights and headlamps dominate while the Cascading Grille and lowering the roof line look cool.

Compared to the hatch it is lower than 25 millimetres while at an overall length of 4,455 mm it is 115 mm longer than the five-door. The big change is the rear with the fastback shape beautifully integrated. The rear spoiler is a neat touch as well.

Interiors are fully loaded as you might expect and space at the rear is good too though headroom is a bit tight thanks to the low roofline. The Fastback is the sportier car with stiffened suspension.

Engine options are the 1.4 T-GDI turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a 1.0 T-GDI turbocharged three-cylinder engine. The 1.4-litre T-GDI petrol engine is offered with the six-speed manual transmission or the seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

Should Hyundai launch this? Why not, especially if it looks as good as this!
