Now that it has already announced power packs for the Mustang GT, Ford is ready to roll out performance upgrades for the EcoBoost model. Mustangs equipped with the 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost and performance calibration kit gain 25 more peak horsepower and 70 lb-ft more peak torque than standard models. That means the Ford Mustang EcoBoost now maxes out at 335 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque.

Between 2,500 to 5,000 rpm, you'll gain an average of 40 hp and 60 lb-ft of torque with the power pack. From 5,500 rpm to redline, the gains average out to 75 hp, although at 6,000 rpm the increase jumps to a whopping 100 hp.

Priced at $699, the kit is available for model-year 2015 and newer Ford Mustang EcoBoost models equipped with either the six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. In automatic-equipped cars, the performance package provides optimized shift schedules. All upgrades are compliant in 50 states and won't null the vehicle limited warranty.

Back in July, Ford Performance announced three different power packs for Mustang GT models. This is the first time Ford has offered more than one performance calibration for a single powertrain application, the automaker says. Depending on which power pack you choose, the GT upgrades are priced from $539 to $2,395, with peak horsepower gains between 13 hp and 37 hp.
