Ford unveils the new Focus RS in Cologne

Ford has revealed the third-generation Focus RS ahead of the Geneva Motor Show 2015. It shares the same 2.3-litre turbocharged Ecoboost engine with the new Mustang - perfect pub bragging rights fodder - and boasts "more than" 320hp, meaning it's likely to eat the Volkswagen Golf R for dinner.

The mainstream car maker's finally caved in and given the Focus RS four-wheel drive, apparently resulting in "neutral and adjustable limit handling, and the ability to achieve controlled oversteer drifts at the track." Performance figures are to be confirmed, but it's safe to say it'll be stonkingly quick.
