How does it stand against its competitors is what this article all about. Let us compare them in detail to give you a clear picture.

The new Kwid looks like the biggest car here thanks to its mini SUV styling which makes it one of the most attractive cars in its segment. The Eon has two engine options; one is 800ccc, 55bhp engine and second is a more powerful 1.0L, 68bhp engine. All cars come standard with five-speed manual gearbox while the K10 has an advantage of having a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The Kwid also happens to be the most fuel efficient petrol car in India with a mileage of 25.17km/ltr while the Alto comes second with its mileage of 24km/ltr followed by Eon and Go with a mileage of 21.1km/ltr and 20.6km/ltr.

The entry level variant of Kwid is priced at INR 2.57lakhs while its top variant is priced at INR 3.53lakhs which makes it the most affordable car in this competition. The pricing for K10, Go and Eon starts from INR 3.20lakhs, INR 3.24laksh and INR 3.11lakhs respectively. The top variants of all these three cars are also costlier than Kwid and are priced at INR 4.02lakhs, 4.20lakhs and INR 4.10lakhs respectively. Now you have to say Renault have gone for the kill and have done everything right with the Kwid right down to the killer pricing which does make it an unbeatable package. The Alto, especially in K10 guise has the advantage of an AMT automatic option, a bigger engine plus the Maruti sales and service network but still beyond that the Kwid has got to be the biggest nightmare to its competition and we will not be surprised if Kwid brings in massive numbers from now on.
