The BMW i8 just got more colourful

BMW UK has unveiled a range of new colours for its hybrid supercar, and they make the i8 look even better than before. Instead of just a silver or black metallic paint job, BMW’s hybrid supercar is now available in everything from Java Green to San Marino Blue - but I think Frozen Black looks the best.

As you’d expect, the rest of the BMW i8 remains unchanged - and why would you change it? The i8’s combined electric and petrol output generates a huge 362 horsepower, and that’s enough to get it from 0 to 60mph in a speedy 4.4 seconds. And the best bit? Despite its speed, the i8 can cover up to 23 miles in an emission-free electric mode, and it can even achieve a combined consumption figure of 134.5mpg. Then again, it does cost £104,540…
