The 2.8-liter four-cylinder churns out 181 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. WIth the six-speed automatic, maximum towing climbs to 7,700 pounds. The engine can be had in the upcoming ZR2 Bison model (shown above). The package builds on the popular ZR2 offroad model and adds beefy (bisony?) steel bumpers. Boron steel skid plates cover the engine oil pan, fuel tank, transfer case and differentials front and rear. The Bison goes on sale January 2019.
